I'm with Hockey God, stay home with the most adorable chidren since mine (natch) and write the next Harry Potter when they are at school. I hear what you say about PPS. Especially now that I am here in the land of Beaver...there is no trash on the street. Really! No tagging, that I've seen. Pretty lawns, pretty shopping centers, pretty people...its amazing what cash can do for a town! I hear the siren song of the Beaverton school district...did you know I graduated from Beaverton High? My kids, however, bleed true for P-town, scary beating homicide right by my old house and all. I may have to over-rule...

If you can stay home, then stay home. Why should we make this a dilemma for ourselves? I worked evenings when my kids were small, then went back to school to become a teacher. I hated working full time, there was no me for me to be there for my own kids.
I love the flexibility of my current job, I work late when I can so I can leave early for my kids. If I want to work extra shifts, then I pick up a shift, no problem.
Do what your gut says. It all works out.

Stay home, stay home, stay home. Then work on the play in your "spare" time!
If I had an iota of a choice I'd stay my ass home - well maybe I'd work outside of the house for about 10 hours a week or so to avoid going completely crazy!
