I am reading very lightweight books right now, but I am jealous of you ladies reading more than one book at a time!

Water for Elephants, I have heard good things about...

I'm with Beth on Guernsey. LOVED "Water for Elephants". it's on my 'Favorite Books of All-time' list. Haven't read 'Unless'--will try it.

I'm reading 'Faith of Our Sons: A Father's Wartime Journal' and 'Saving Grandma', both by Frank Schaeffer, cuz I just read his autobiography and wanted to read some of his other stuff.

LOVED the first two...Guernsey starts well but doesn't live up to its promise, IMO. Gets a little cutesy.
I'm reading Odd Thomas, The Warden (Anthony Trollope), and Dreams of Trespass (Mernissi). Also Keats, because it's fall.
