10. My puffy blue vest, because it reminds me of the one my boyfriend C wore when we were 16 and makes me feel like i’m leaving to go camping.
9. Indoor egg hunts. It’s pouring down rain and we’re not going out in this shit.

Kids who are not running fevers of 105, like the other night when 2-year-old Wacky Boy spiked it that high twice and it wasn’t lowering more than a couple of degrees, even with Tylenol, and terrified WD and me. Wacky Girl is getting over the asthma, Wacky Boy is bouncing back. Maybe he’ll play championship volleyball when he grows up, cuz the boy knows how to spike.
7. My husband, for staying up all night two nights in a row with WB.
6. Washable colored markers that really are.
5. The lipstick-pink camellia bush blooming outside the window.
