Friday, September 2nd, 2005 5:00 PM – NOW and PPRC Friday Rally and March – Mothers and Children Against War and Occupation!
On Friday, September 2nd, the National Organization for Women will join with the Portland Peaceful Response Coalition to host a rally and march in solidarity with mothers in the U.S. and Iraq who have lost children in this war and occupation. Over 1860 U.S. soldiers and more than 100,000 Iraqis have been killed in this war. Mothers and children in Portland will gather on September 2nd at 5p.m. in Pioneer Square to express our grief, anger and to demand an end to this unjust war and brutal occupation. Please join us in this call for peace, justice and a more equitable future for our children.
