what to do/flu
From Flu.gov:
If your child has any of these signs, seek emergency medical care right
away:
* fast breathing or trouble breathing
* bluish or gray skin color
* not drinking enough fluids
* severe or persistent vomiting
* not urinating or no tears when crying
* not waking up or not interacting
* being so irritable that the child does not want to be held
* flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough
Hey. I hope you guys are kicking the flu’s ass over there. My sister had two kids down with it and says that the fever was particularly persistent and scary high at times. I’m sending light and cyber ginger ale and popsicles your way.

We’re trying. The fever is a drag — on and off for a week now. Thanks for the cyber treats :)

How are your kiddos? I hope they are feeling a bit better. How are you feeling?

Son is fine and on a field trip to the Oregon Ballet Theater. With his dad. Cuz they’re strong in their masculinity and not intimidated by ballet. Daughter? Still with the asthma attacks, fever seems to be waning. She’s staying home all week, I think. Me? Sore throat, headache, I’ll deal. Thank you for asking :)
Be well, Neisha and everyone else out there in cyberland.
