* we would make waffles for the kids. if we had any milk or eggs in the house, that is.

* note to self: grocery shop at least once a week.

* The Beverly Cleary Tour yesterday was bananas.

* at our house we don’t say “it’s a dangerous cycle” we say “it’s a dangerous psycho.” same thing.

happy Sunday, y’all.

So it’s waffles, not? We made pineapple upside down cake, AGAIN today. I’m going to get fat.

Happy Sunday. Blech. It’s raining. I don’t like the rain. But, happy Sunday anyways. There: I was cheerful.

On a happier note, I finally made Oatmeal Patties, which I’ve been meaning to for at least a week. Don’t worry, they’re almost as bad as they sound. ;) Actually, it’s quite nice for a semi-vegetarian choice. Especially with mashed potatoes. Of course, it might only be about the mashed potatoes. Maybe we’ll never know.

    Sorry for rambling.

I grocery shop on Mondays, so Sunday is often a day of food odds and ends and leftovers!
Happy sunday and go merrily into the new week!

Nan, that was one of my Dear Granny’s favorite cakes. I love it, too. I made pumpkin bread and it was delish. http://wackymommy.org/blog/arc.....down_cake/

    WackyMummy, send the recipe.

TOL, I shopped! You have a good week, too.

I hear the grocery stores require green papers in exchange for their goods? Must be why I don’t go anymore.

Oh, and I am the original dangerous psycho.
