I absolutely agree with Eleanor. Any time I feel offended it is between Me and Me. I have a choice about me feelings. I know it can be hard to recognize this especially when we have been deeply hurt in the past and the situation stirs up our emotions unconsciously. We react (both internally and unfortunately externally) automatically. Thankfully our negative reactions are the very thing we should explore. Although it can be very hard to deal with our stuff if we take the time and be patient with ourselves we can come out as better people and have more peace. It has taken me a long time to learn this and I am thankful my very good friend Mary taught me this. I am now passing this lesson down to my children. As we all want our children to have it better than we did I hope to end some generational curses in my family. Blessings to All.

A tough one. I have been made to feel inferior, but I think I know better now. What kind of fool goes around making people feel inferior? They need a kick in the ass, because *I* rock. And so do you!

Unfortunately, I agree with the statement. I say ‘unfortunately’ because I’d LIKE to blame someone else, but I can’t (in all honesty) do that. I try to remember a rather worn (but nonetheless true)cliche, ‘Consider the source’.

I mostly disagree. Words have power, and other people can mess with your mind. I totally agree with Lib though: consider the source. Eleanor had a point, but I think it’s naive to blame everything on the victim.
