Today I was really wishing that my wonderful but conservative church had a “cry room” for grown ups! Or maybe some “cry cubicles” where I could still hear the service and have a semi-private, cleansing cry. I was trying not to cry because most people in my church seem seriously uncomfortable with tears. I felt a little bit judged and resentful. Then I found your Blog . . .
~~~“Here, kleenex!” she says. “Look, they have boxes all over!”
They do. Every other pew.
You think they heard I’d be there today?” ~~~
Maybe some day the back of every chair in church will have a Kleenex dispenser! : )
Love your blog. I’m tempted to stay up and read it for a few hours but sleep is important and elusive. I’m glad you’re here.
I feel so very privileged to be one of your links.
Ash,
You’re killing me here! “My friends, you bow to no one…”
