Dirty Thieves

PEACE AND LOVE to the Wacky Mommy of my late friend David Johnson. He was an Oregon boy, who I knew from about 20 years ago. A bunch of us used to all run around together, when we were mere children. We lost touch. He was killed in Iraq. God rest. His mom is going to join Cindy Sheehan, deep in the heart of Texas. You rock, mamas.

And, in more trivial news: Did they steal the other pumpkin yet? No. But they did try to steal the neighbor’s car. And a few years ago, they stole my neighbor’s bathtub. Which was in her driveway at the time. (They were remodeling.)

Peanut Butter Playdough

Mix:

1 cup honey
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup dry powdered milk

Mix ingredients. Add additional milk if necessary to make the dough pliable. This dough is extremely edible. (Not for kids under age one.)

Okay. When we got back from swimming lessons… There used to be TWO PUMPKINS in our front yard. But then when we got back, there was only ONE. Okay. Someone stoled our pumpkin. The big one, too!
